2 months agoHands down one of the best scratch made dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Pretty simple menu, everything executed incredibly well and truly home made (fries, breakfast potatoes, biscuits, etc). Service was great, very friendly staff, lots of fresh coffee being brought around (never once had an empty mug). Kind of an unassuming building with a great experience waiting inside.

3 months agoThis Cafe serves some of the best food in the county. Her hamburger is the best in town, and the hot roast beef open-faced sandwich and mashed potatoes was perfect. Her bakery is delicious and she sells whole pies for under $20! Don't think twice about this decision and just simply go. She's open for breakfast and lunch daily and Friday nights for fish fry dinner.

a year agoDon't let the exterior fool you! We almost left but I'm glad we didn't. Excellent small diner with great tentative service, clean bathrooms and a good variety of food choices. The fried cheese curds and huge homemade onion rings were delicious!

a year agoA & M Cafe is under NEW Ownership. Of the 3 ladies, Angie Jacqueline were known to me. Jacqueline came to the table, often helping out. She is also the baker ( cookies, muffins, etc.. ) They are off to a very fine start. I had the chicken 🐔 fried steak with gravy ,potatoes, and eggs. My wife had the special prime rib, potatoes 🥔, and eggs 🥚. I'll start with the single negative. The gravy had a bit too much sausage in it, but the real problem was the gravy had no flow ( it was too thick ). The eggs were prepared nicely, and as I requested them, the potatoes ( I don't eat thos type to much, but when I do, I like them harder. My wife loved the steak, the over easy eggs 🥚 she was happy with. Oh, the Biscuit is 🔥 FIRE!!!! This is a happy little place for good eats. We will return. I believe they have a military discount, but I keep forgetting to ask.

2 years agoVery clean family restaurant. The food portion is big and home cooking style. My prime rib steak is quite over cooked than medium rare I ordered but I don't mind. It's a lot of meat, very satisfying. Really appreciate the warm and hearty food right at the roadside. Highly recommend!

3 years agoCute little restaurant! Clean! We had today’s special which was Prime Rib, potato (we chose mashed w/gravy) salad, vegetable (chose carrots which were sweet and tasty) and desert…choice of chocolate sundae or sherbet. The food was excellent with that homemade touch! The table next to us got a pizza which looked amazing, and disappeared as soon as the server set it on the table! Bathrooms were spacious and clean with easy access. We had great a server, and everyone was so nice… From the road, the restaurant is a small brown building with a big gas station type awning, so don’t miss it!
